Who is Coo, Babble, Talk?

I am a stay at home mother of two beautiful children. I am also a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). I have had the opportunity to work with preschool age children for the past 13 years. I have been a classroom aide, teacher, and SLP. I have worked as a SLP in public schools and a private pediatric clinic. Through out these experiences I have had the chance to work with many children. Some of them were easy to work with and others were not so easy. (My children fall into both of these categories at times!)

I try to make the best out of every situation I am presented. The good. the bad. and... the ugly.

My laundry piles up and my gas tank is almost always empty.

My days are full and NEVER long enough. I run the tires off my car driving from soccer practice to preschool and keep myself extremely busy doing all my other mommy duties: dog walking, diaper changing, nursing, story telling, boo-boo kissing, meal preparing, house cleaning, exercising, playing cars, crafting, imagining, washing dishes, floor mopping (although the dogs help me with this one), laughing (and some days crying) and blogging.

I find joy in kid free grocery runs and get excited when I see organic produce. I love adventure and will hop on an airplane with a moments notice- just ask my husband.

I am not perfect. My kids aren't perfect (although I think they are pretty darn close). Every day I discover ways to be a better mother and more reasons to love my life. Some days are better than others and every day is a blessing.

On this blog I will share with you my experiences, and give you my personal and professional opinion. My advice may not always be the easiest to hear or the best. Please do what is best for your family. My husband would say, "Take it or leave it-- I'm just putting it out there."

I hope you enjoy coming here for tips, tutorials, and laughs.
